Bielloni Castello S.p.A.

Bielloni was founded in 1919 by Guglielmo Bielloni, the grandfather of the current company president, Dr. Alessandro Castello.

On the 12 th June 1964, the ultra modern factory in Biassono was inaugurated for manufacturing plastic film extrusion machines.
Later on, in the 1972, a production of converting machinery was started up.

On July 22nd 2002, Bielloni Castello officially finalized the acquisition of the prestigious brands Dolci and Dolci Extrusion, including the know-how, the patent rights, the drawings, the warehouse and some machinery orders to be completed.

At present, Bielloni is the only Italian company which can supply full processing lines for sophisticated plastic packaging, covering the full range of products in terms of dimensions and output required by the customers. The excellence of our production is based on the very wide experience and efficiency of our technical staff, which maximizes our flexibility in terms of bespoke machinery for the customers needs.

Two different branches are now composing our company: Bielloni Converting and Dolci Extrusion.

Bielloni Converting is dedicated to the production of:

• C.I. gear driven presses , including six and/or eight colours stations
• C.I. gearless presses , including eight and/or ten colours stations

Both these machines models are suitable for reducing the change-over time and guarantee sophisticated printing at the highest machinery output because of the efficient and powerful drying capability, high stability due to heavy cast frame, and very reliable digital control for automatic job repeat. An efficient trouble shooting, covering all the machine performances, is very comfortable and operator friendly. The gearless models are particularly advanced for time saving and easy print repeat

• Laminating machines (solvent and/or solventless): Compact and reliable machines for the production of flexible laminated films for packaging.
• Slitter rewinders : automatic or semi-automatic machines, versatile and suitable for all kinds of flexible material.
• Extrusion coating groups : this section also includes extrusion lamination and / or extrusion coating lines

Dolci Extrusion is dedicated to the production of:

• Blown Film Lines (up to seven layers): mono and multi-layer blown film lines provide solutions for industrial and food packaging, as well as for technical and agricultural applications.
• Cast film Lines (up to seven layers): Cast film extrusion represents a strategic competence of Dolci Extrusion together with blown film technology. Dolci Extrusion have 50 years experience in the film extrusion business, on a worldwide scale.

From January 2004 the Dolci Extrusion lines will be manufactured in the new building located in Biassono.
Bielloni of today has a prevalently technical image; ever seeking innovations, the group works with modern technologies to continue along the route set in the past.

But Bielloni remains loyal to the traditions that privilege the relationship with the customer whose problems are always brought to the attention of the general management because, faithful to the family tradition, the people managing the company measure its efficiency by making sure that Customers are satisfied.
