The Bielloni Inno-Deck 8 Gearless Flexographic Press
Important feature of the INNO-DECK 8 is the possibility to position the locks/stoppers into a pre-print position by means of a workstation.
The translation movements of the printing groups are driven by 4 stepping motors.
The real position of both the inking and printing group is given to the computer at any moment by precise “optical line encoders”.
Hereinafter we give some additional features of the machines:
•Chrome plated central drum diameter 1910,1 mm (75,2")
•Horizontal sequential throw off of the printing decks
•Rack in/out of printing decks on ball bearing slides.
•Automatic brake control with highly sensitive pneumatic dancing roll
•Automatic control of web elongation after drying with pneumatic dancing roll
•Rewinding tension control by ultra sensitive dancing roller system and taper tension with tension regulation by minicomputer.

Printing decks
All our central drum machines feature the horizontal insertion of all printing groups to printing pressure; the throw off at machine stop takes place identically.
The machine's horizontal and sequential throw off movement is driven by step-by-step motors which act on the translation screws, controlled from the Work Station.
All the decks are fitted with dual type linear guides that ensured an extremely precise positioning and absence of mechanical wear in the course of time. The system makes use of a third ball screws guide so as to distribute the loading on the guides during the sleeves change phases with cantilevered mandrels.
The sleeve mandrels turn on twin rows of high precision needle bearings.
The doctor blade group and its relative support are mounted on ball bearing guides, independently from the printing and inking cylinders; this solution allows to change the anilox sleeve without disassembling neither the doctor blade nor the feeding and draining tubes; the doctor blade release takes place with one only and simple manoeuvre, the docking is manually done by simply pushing in position the doctor blade group.

Work station
•Easy to use thanks to the “Touch Screen” system, the software of the workstation has the following features:
•Automatic supervision of sleeve changeover procedures
•Pre register positioning of all printing decks
•Automatic rack in / rack out of each selected printing decks or of all decks together
•Alarm display of any malfunction of motors, blowers, drives, valves, etc
•Indication of the position of each print decks in any operation phase
•Display of the working speed , of processed footage and of downtimes
•Data base memorization of all the recipes already processed with capability to recall them either typing the name of the customer or the work code (anilox sleeve type, production speed, processed material, ink type, solvent, viscosity, drying temperature, adjustment values, tension control)
•Bull gear positioning to allow a quick in-register gear meshing (tolerance is 1 cm).

Stepping motors and Joy Stick
The micrometric motorized adjustments are achieved by remote control. 4 stepping motors, two for each anilox and two for each printing sleeve, are provided with high precision reducers.
The joy stick adjustment permits highly sensitive corrections so as to reach the same results as with a manual regulation.
The high precision joystick commands can allow adjustments lower than 10 mµ (10 micron).

Automatic sleeves change for plate and anilox cylinders
Due to the precision of both the workstation of our Inno-Deck 8, and the deck-positioning controller (optic line encoder) the machine can perform a reliable and quick “in the machine” sleeve change system.
The positions originally memorized in the workstation can be adjusted and corrected to optimize the positioning in spite of possible mechanical wear of the printing decks after years of running operation.
