News and Developments At Polygraphica Equipment Ltd
10 COLOUR GEARLESS BIELLONI THEOREMA'S COMES TO THE UK
Bielloni / Polygraphica are pleased to announce that not one but two 10 colour Bielloni Theorema Gearless flexo presses have been installed in the UK.
These state of the art presses with direct servo drives to the print cylinders and anilox rolls are capable of infinite repeats up to a maximum of 700 mm. Gravure quality printing at speeds up to 400 mpm and a change over time measured in minutes make the Theorema extremely competitive.
Horizontal print decks and 150 mm side frames give exceptional stability even at the higher speeds. Highly efficient drying ensures that the substrate is completely dry before rewinding.
Peter Holden, Director of Polygraphica Equipment Ltd., the Bielloni UK agents said:
“The Company is proud to be associated with Bielloni as these latest machines represent the future of flexographic printing for years to come.
Together with our UK based service team we can ensure trouble free, top quality printing for Bielloni customers”.
The first Theorema was installed at Q Print Flexographics at their brand new facility at Somercoates in Derbyshire alongside a new Julia 2 seconda solventless laminator also from Bielloni.
Peter Eyre, Managing Director of Q Print said:
“We chose the Theorema because it gives us the ability to compete for work that previously was out of our range. We looked at other gearless machines but we were most impressed by the Bielloni technology of direct servo drives and quality of print. It is also important to us that Polygraphica has its own service personnel in the UK”.
Bielloni, Polygraphica and Q Print will be organising an open day to enable flexo printers to see the Theorema in a production environment.
The second 10 colour Theorema has been sold to Brayford Plastics in Lincolnshire. Brayford Plastics are an all Bielloni house and they have chosen Bielloni again because of the technology incorporated into the machine and the service offered by Polygraphica.
